Each one-of-a-kind stool will be featured as part of the exhibition before becoming yours to take home after the show. Every sponsored stool includes:
a hand-painted artist stool

an original print created by the same artist

First Bloom Collection
Moxie Works earliest work, each piece is a one-of-a-kind mixed media artwork made from wood, ceramic, layered textures, and hand-finished details. Only 40 were created as part of Moxie Works Studio’s Gifts of Art exhibit at Michigan Medicine.

Current Project
From Story to Table, A Community Exhibit
Preparations for A Seat at the Table are currently underway! We’ve hosted over four months of community workshops, where participants are sharng stories and transforming them into clay plates and hand-dyed textiles.
This work will come together in a final exhibit held the last two weeks of June in the Parking Lot of Chelsea State Bank. A Seat at the Table is an immersive table installation where each piece holds a story visitors can hear by scanning QR codes. But the project doesn’t end there. During this two-week residency, the space comes alive with CommuniTEA gatherings and daily opportunities for the community to connect and create! Learn more about Pitch Haus.

Moxie Works Studio is building a supported, inclusive art studio where artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities engage in meaningful creative work as part of a collaborative studio practice. Inspired by established models like Soaring Arts Studio, this work brings a proven, artist-centered approach into our community—expanding access, visibility, and creative leadership.
